(950m-2100m altitude) - The Royal Resort named "Carpathians Pearl" is one of the most beautifuls resorts worlwide. The history and the classy hotels make Sinaia what it is: a full of charm ski resort. The best apres-ski in Romania is here. Two cable cars (900m-1400m and 1400m-2000m) link the resort to its peaks which overrun 2000m. Unlimited possibilities for tourists, and Sinaia's unique atmosphere makes a vacation here truly special. A visit to Sinaia Monastery (founded in 1690 - 1695 by Spatharus Mihail Cantacuzino), to the Peles Castle, Pelisor and Foisor castles, and to the magnificent medieval Casino of Sinaia must not be missed.

Nice restaurants with Romanian and German specific, German Pub, Bars, Discos (Blue Angel Disco and Diana Disco are well-known), Swimming Pools, sauna and fitness center, billiard, table tennis.

In 1880 took place here the first Ski competition. In 1935 Sinaia hosted The Winter Games for bobsleigh. The traditional resort of Sinaia has some beautiful buildings including the Palace Hotel and the seventeenth century monastery, King Carol built his summer residence here in 1876.
